I was doing a protein alignment today to verify my sequence in DNA strider (which by the way is the notepad of DNA manipulation tools… simple and awesome, but only for Mac). I glanced over and saw:

The “Q” looked like an “O”, which was lucky because there is no “O” single-letter designation for a natural amino acid. So, it looks like my proteins are evolving and plotting to take over the world. Be forwarned! :)
