For our upcoming housewarming parties, I decided to make sangria. The following recipe was adapted from here and here. It’s pretty delicious, if I do say so myself (also said by my taste-testers).
Recipe
Makes over a gallon.
2 bottle of red wine (I chose 2-buck Chuck’s cabernet sauvignon)
2 cans of ginger ale (24 fl oz; Canada Dry)
2 cans of Fresca (24 fl oz; mine was peach flavored)
2 tablespoons of white sugar
2 shots of brandy
1 lime (sliced thinly)
1 lemon (sliced thinly)
2 oranges (sliced thinly)
Mix above and incubate in fridge overnight.

Ingredients:
- baby greens salad
- strawberries
- pine nuts
- Asian sesame dressing
It is as delicious as it looks. Strawberries are always so sour, which goes great with the tangy dressing.

Ingredients:
- tortilla wrap
- microwavable frozen buffalo chicken strips
- spring mix veggies
- Asian sesame dressing
- shredded cheese
Cut up some chicken strips and top with veggies and cheese. I haven’t tried the cheese yet because my shredded cheese was moldy, but I imagine it to be pretty good. The Asian sesame dressing was kind of random… gives a nice contrast to the spiciness of the buffalo chicken. Perhaps I’ll try mayonnaise or ranch dressing next time.
